I have seen mystics who martyr their body. I have seen atheists denying the Spirit. Every day, I see men and women who fight against their own person. It is a curious thing, this human journey and, at times, when our perception narrows, it is even absurd. It is a never-ending battle, most of the time against our own folly, or in its favour... and yet I continue to be deeply moved by taking delight in and admiring the greatness of the backdrop of this blue world, this Earth that allows us to be and to exist.
I recognize myself in my body and I take care of it.
I recognize myself in my person, and I refine it.
I recognize myself in my bond with the infinite cosmos and I make the tree of life grow alongside its source and I drink from its water.
I have decided to accept myself as the piece of a puzzle of dimensions beyond imagination.
I have chosen to be an exceptional witness, from where I am.
I am body, mind, and soul in human form.
Three levels of manifestation merge to form a Whole: physical-biological (the Earth), psychological-personal (the Human), cosmic-transpersonal (the Universe). We are three in one, neither the beginning nor the end of the path of life, but rather a crossroads. What a thrill!
