8. Eternal

On a fundamental level nothing was created and nothing will be destroyed in a literal sense. The Abstract is the eternal material that, in its static and immutable fashion, contains all the forms and functions that are manifestable within all possible multiverses (Tonal) and each of the possibilities of experiencing them (Nagual). For this reason it is impossible to change the Abstract. In any case, it can be partially traversed by means of the experience that we have called ‘life’.

Although all of us have some idea regarding the infinite, it can sometimes be difficult to understand that its existence implies the mathematical impossibility of reaching a concrete level of manifestation that is superior to all others. Wherefore a Creator God is not necessary, since they would be the One, and therefore forcibly concrete. The infinite exists in its own right, without anyone having created it. It is a fundamental feature. Not only does it have no end, it has no beginning either.

The Abstract is manifested by means of indivisible units of consciousness or Emanations of the Spirit that, however – and herein lies a great mystery – can be made permutations on and combined, thus forming any universe imaginable. Although in doing so, the Emanations do not change their inalterable aspect in any way.

The nature of Infinity causes concrete bubbles of attention to emerge, which arise in the form of beings and environments, worlds and universes, with their cycles of conception, gestation, birth, life, death and transition. It is not necessary for there to be a personal will in order for Creation to happen, this is an inevitable consequence. Nevertheless, within existence, beings can reflect the creative quality of the Abstract in their lives, thus generating new permutations of reality.

The inalterable quality of the Eternal does not interfere with the fact that everything concrete (the manifested, what does have a beginning and an end), including the universe that we ourselves observe, is organized in the form of different orders of nestled symmetries and hierarchies of living beings that accumulate partial experiences on the knowledge of the Totality, from the focal point of attention relative to themselves.

That individual focus of attention represented by each one of us is a witness, an observer, a complete universe, a bubble that floats in the Infinite Sea of Consciousness, a ripple in the Eternal trying to make sense of a portion of that which is beyond understanding. Within those bubbles that we are, is where linearity truly matters and exists: here things have a beginning and an end, here it is necessary to fight, share, change, create and learn. This present moment is where evolving makes sense, since, if we do evolve, we will experience a more refined and exalted version of the whole and of ourselves.

We are still in the process of understanding that, although the scenarios begin, transform and end, the play itself never had a beginning or an end.
